BANGALORE: Sanskrit is the mother of all languages, said governor HR Bhardwaj as he called for promoting the language on Saturday.
At a function organized by Karnataka Samskrit University , the governor called for the development of both Kannada and Sanskrit languages . Bhardwaj also released new Sanskrit textbooks and said there should be no room for controversy on the issue. “There was no Kannada-Sanskrit dispute earlier . It should not be there in future also,” he said.
Senior judge of the Karnataka high court Justice N Kumar who inaugurated the Sanskrit evening college, described Sanskrit as India’s most computer-suited language and opined that computers would help globalize the language.
