MUMBAI: Heavy rain which lashed several parts of Mumbai city and suburbs since Tuesday morning came to a halt by early evening. The rainfall recorded between 8am to 2pm in Mumbai city area was 32.78mm, eastern Suburbs 62.61mm and western suburbs 65.39mm.
The rain led to waterlogging in several areas. Local train services and flights were also hit.
