MUMBAI: Around 40 homes were razed to the ground after a fire broke out in a slum in Mumbai’s Mahim area.
No casualties have been reported. The blaze occurred at a slum establishment on S L Raheja
road in Mahim.
The control room got a call at around 11 AM about the blaze following which five fire tenders were immediately rushed to the site, a fire control room official said.
The flames have been doused but the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
