Rihanna totally kills it in a Balmain jumpsuit on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar March 2015, on newsstands February 17.
Here’s what the 26-year-old superstar had to share with the mag:
On swimming with sharks for the shoot: “I try my best to avoid the sharks of life, but I have had my share of experiences with them, and in those cases I just have to handle them accordingly. But I do not swim with sharks … sharks swim with sharks.”
On her favorite red carpet look ever: “My favorite red-carpet looks are usually the ones I get to help design: the Adam Selman Swarovski crystal dress at the CFDAs, the Stella McCartney all-white dress at the Met Gala, and the Adam Selman white jersey dress from the VMAs. But the red Azzedine Alaïa at the Grammys is also one of my favorites.”
On how much it takes to get her red carpet ready: “At times a lot of maintenance, and at times none. I have a job that requires quite a lot of glam, and I have a great team that helps me with that. But sometimes, like when I’m in the studio or on vacation, there’s little to no maintenance.”
On if there’s a line she wouldn’t cross, fashion wise: “I don’t like to commit to those kind of rules. You never know.”
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard made it legal at their home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, a source tells PEOPLE.
As previously reported, a bigger wedding is still to come this weekend on Depp’s private island (Little Hall’s Pond Cay) in the Bahamas.
Depp, 51, and Heard, 28, got engaged over the holidays in 2012 after meeting on the set of 2011’s The Rum Diary.
They stepped out as a couple in 2012 after the actor split with longtime partner Vanessa Paradis, and though they weathered split rumors late last year, the two have seemed better than ever as of late, showing off PDA at various events.
Mumbai, Feb. 5 — Shraddha Kapoor is having a tough time dealing with fan frenzy, as admirers have started to encroach upon her private space.
The actor was forced to ask her building security to keep tabs on the visitors, after she was mobbed in the lobby by a few fans recently when she alighted from the car to get in.
“Shraddha was in for a surprise when she was returning home at 2 am after a shoot. Three boys, who are apparently big fans of her, dodged the security guards and made it to her lobby,” says a source close to the actor.
Shraddha amicably met them and enquired as to how long they had been waiting for her. Though they did not seem intimidating, she was alarmed that someone could breach the security and enter her building.
After they left, the actor apparently called the guards and asked them to beef up the security with immediate effect.
“Shraddha stays near Juhu Beach and when people see her around, they often follow her till the building and wait outside. When the guards learnt about this (recent trespassing) incident, they decided to take extra precautions and added more guards,” says the source.
When contacted, Shraddha confirmed the news, saying, “It is their (the fans) way of showing love and I feel lucky to have them in my life. But after some boys managed to fool the guards post-midnight and entered my lobby, I asked the guards to be extra careful.”

Monarchak (Tripura): North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) has commissioned a five-MW solar power plant at Monarchak in Tripura, which will be the biggest and the first of its kind in northeast India.
“We started generation of power from the solar power plant from Wednesday. The full (5-MW) commercial generation would start within a month after completing some technicalities,” NEEPCO general manager SR Biswas told IANS.
The solar power plant was commissioned at a cost of Rs 40 crore. The entire power from the plant would be transmitted to the Tripura power grid.
Biswas said NEEPCO will set up a 50-MW solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh and a two-MW plant in Lanka in Nagaon district of Assam.
“As per the government policy, NEEPCO has initiated the process to set up more and more solar, non-conventional and renewable power plants in various parts of the country,” he said.
Meanwhile, after a huge delay, the ONGC Sunday night started supplying gas to NEEPCO’s 101-MW capacity power plant in Monarchak, 70 km south of Tripura capital Agartala and just eight km from the Bangladesh border.
NEEPCO, a mini-ratna company under the union power ministry, has set up the Rs.9.5 billion (nearly $150 million) gas-based power plant in Monarchak.
Biswas said if the supply of gas from ONGC remains uninterrupted, the power project would start generation of electricity from March and the full commercial generation (101 MW) of power would start from August.
He said non-supply of gas by ONGC resulted in loss of Rs.5 crore a month.
The foundation stone of the Monarchak power project was laid during the previous National Democratic Alliance government in March 2002 and the Tripura government allotted the required land to NEEPCO in 2003.
By using the latest technology, the generation capacity of three existing power plants in Tripura will be augmented by around 70 MW without increasing fuel consumption.
To enhance the production capacity of two gas-based power plants and one hydel power project, NEEPCO in association with the Tripura government would invest Rs.500 crore.
The Rokhia and Baramura gas-based power plants in Tripura are at present in the open cycle system. Both the power plants would be converted into the combined cycle mode to generate additional power without using extra fuel, Biswas said.
“Currently, both plants are generating 103 MW and after conversion into the combined cycle mode, their capacity would be 163 MW,” he said.
An open cycle system has a combustion turbine plant fired by liquid fuel that runs a generator which produces electricity.
A combined cycle system also uses gas turbines to produce electricity, but the waste heat from the turbines is captured in heat recovery steam generators where it produces steam to power steam turbines and generate more power without using additional fuel.
NEEPCO would also increase the capacity of the Dambur hydel power plant, commissioned in 1974, from 8 MW to 15 MW.

New Delhi: The number of Muslims contesting the assembly polls in Delhi has fallen significantly in comparison to 2013. And Muslim leaders and pundits feel most Muslims are likely to vote for the AAP.
Of the 673 candidates in the fray for Saturday`s battle for the 70-member assembly, 68 are Muslims – down from 108 two years ago when the total number of contestants was 810. In 2013, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Samajwadi Party fielded the highest number of Muslims — 11 each. The BSP`s Muslim candidates this time has slid to seven. The Samajwadi Party is not in the race this time.
Muslims account for over 11 percent of nearly 17 million population in Delhi.
Up to eight constituencies have significant Muslim presence. These include Okhla in south Delhi, Mustafabad and Seelampur in east Delhi and Matia Mahal and Ballimaran in Old Delhi.
Matia Mahal has most Muslim candidates among all constituencies: 14 out of 17.
The number of Muslims put up by the Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) remains virtually unchanged.
The Congress fielded six Muslims in 2013 and four of them — or 50 percent of its eight legislators — won. It has put up six Muslims now.
According to the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), 53 percent Muslims voted for the Congress in 2013.
The Congress vote share, however, slipped in the 2014 Lok Sabha election, indicating a shift of a part of its Muslim vote base among others to the AAP.
The Congress is hopeful that Muslims will stick by it now.
“The Congress will retain all its Muslims constituencies. Individual factors also matter. People know that only we (Congress) can stop communal forces like BJP,” Matin Ahmed, who has not lost any election since 1993, told IANS
The AAP has given ticket to five Muslims, down from six in 2013.
“We are sweeping Muslim votes this time,” asserted Irfanullah, who heads the AAP`s wing for minorities.
“In 2013 they (Muslims) were not sure about us. Now they know that the AAP alone can stop the BJP,” he said.
The BJP has fielded only one Muslim – Shakeel Anjum Dehlavi, who was formerly with the AAP. The number was the same in 2013.
“The BJP does not believe in the politics of so-called minority and majority. We choose candidates based on their winnablity criterion,” Atif Rashid, president of Delhi BJP`s Minority Cell, told IANS.
The Hind Congress Party has fielded four Muslim candidates
The Nationalist Congress Party, All India Minority Front, Indian Muslim League, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party, Communist Party of India and Janata Dal-United have fielded one Muslim candidate each.
So who are Muslims in Delhi most likely to vote for? The most widespread answer is: AAP.
“AAP appears to the most favourite among Muslims,” Sanjay Kumar, a Fellow at the CSDS, told IANS. “Most Muslims think only the AAP can overcome the BJP.”
Mufti Mukarram, the Shahi Imam of the 17th century Fatehpuri mosque in Old Delhi, agreed with Sanjay Kumar`s assessment.
“From whatever interactions I have had with Muslims, I get the feeling that most Muslims will vote for the AAP.
“The main reason is that Muslims are able to connect to the issues raised by AAP. Also, Muslims, like everyone, remember the 49 days when (AAP leader Arvind) Kejriwal provided a corruption-free government.”

New Delhi: Jama Masjid’s Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari on Friday appealed to Muslims to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi Assembly Elections, which are scheduled to be held on Saturday.
“Appeal to all Muslims to support AAP candidates and help in forming a secular government in Delhi,” Bukhari told ANI.
The Imam of India’s biggest mosque said if people don’t vote for AAP in these elections, they would commit a big mistake.
The AAP has, meanwhile, rejected Imam’s offer of support.
The Assembly polls tomorrow are being seen as a direct fight between the BJP and the AAP after the Congress, which ruled Delhi for uninterrupted 15 years, recorded its worst performance bagging only eight seats in the December 2013 elections.
A total of 1,33,09,078 registered voters — including 73,89,089 males, 59,19,127 women and 862 from “other gender” – are eligible to cast their ballots tomorrow.
According to the Election Commission, polling will take place at 12,177 polling stations, of which 714 have been identified as “critical”. Of these, 191 are “highly critical”.
The results would be announced on February 10.
For the past ten days RNI team in New Delhi is extensively covering the Delhi Elections. A team of six reporters have interviewed people of all walks of life on the February 7th Delhi Assembly elections. According to the video that RNI uploaded a week ago, a majority of them had favoured AAP. The indications were very loud and clear from the video of AAP winning the elections. However the news never came out in a clear and distinct manner. It kept beating round the bush. It is only in the last few days every media is disseminating the real news.
According to the latest survey as of today evening the exist polls is as follows. They consist of all age groups representing various constituencies of Delhi.
AAP- 36-40
BJP- 27-32
Congress- 3-5
The results of the 2015 Delhi Assembly Elections is due on 10th February.
